Position: Acupuncturist

Job Description:
Wongs Acupuncture is seeking a licensed Acupuncturist to join our team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical precision, patient-centered care, and a deep understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify anatomical and proportional acupuncture points based on patient presentation.
- Administer treatments using acupuncture needles, cupping, nutritional supplements, and other modalities.
- Apply advanced techniques including intradermal needles, moxibustion, electroacupuncture, gua sha, and bleeding with appropriate safety protocols.
- Formulate and dispense customized herbal prescriptions based on the principles of herbal pharmacology.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
- Educate patients on integrative wellness practices, including stretching, breathing techniques, ergonomics, nutrition, meditation, and relaxation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current New York State Acupuncture License (required).
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (required).
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competence.
- Experience with electronic health records is a plus.
